We were commissioned by DFL Sports, the official media partner of the Bundesliga to provide a range of social media graphics for them to outsource to a range of partners. The work involved a mixture of illustration work and graphic design and was briefed at the start of each week to highlight particular events or landmarks that came out of the weekends fixtures. The graphics were used across a wide number of accounts throughout Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

With 20.2 million followers, they are one of the largest football team social accounts in the world and with a wide and varied fan-base it was important to create a consistent look and feel that communicated the brand values of the club whilst also being easily read on any device.

BT Sport Social Media Graphics - Matchday Package
In June 2016 we were approached by BT Sport to offer design and consultancy services to their social media team. Working with them on a weekly basis, we have overhauled their visuals across their twitter, facebook and instagram feeds.
Following on from their record breaking rights deal with the Premier League, BT Sport share the broadcasting rights with Sky TV for the top flight of English football. Paying an average of £10m per game, BT Sport broadcast 42 live games per season.
In an effort to drive sales of the channel as well as raise awareness of their coverage, the BT Sport social media team plays a vital role in the promotion of these 42 fixtures. We worked with the social team to create a range of graphics that could be easily edited by the social media producers, even if they only had a basic understanding of photoshop.
The end result saw the creation of a full suite of matchday graphics, from fixtures and team line ups to goal alerts and full time scores. Each photoshop file could be easily edited by the team to create a graphic for any fixture. Files included over 100 layers ranging from club crests, stadium photography, BT Sport channel bugs, competition logos and more.
The style was so succesful that it was later applied to all of the European football that BT Sport broadcasts, so similar items were produced for the Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Scottish Premier League.
