The LFC Postcard series is a self initiated project, that aims to capture the ups and downs felt by fans throughout the football league season. Limited to a print run of only 91, the Messi 91 poster was a celebration of a record breaking 2012 for the world's best football player. Lionel Messi scored 91 goals in a calendar year, breaking the world record that was previously held by Gerd Muller.
Every goal scored is illustrated as a unique symbol, along with a description for the type of goal scored and who it was scored against. The poster was featured on numerous websites including The Drum, Computer Arts and The Daily Mirror.
All 91 prints sold out within a week, with buyers ranging from countries including Ecuador, India, Japan, Mexico, Argentina, France, Belgium, Spain, Holland, Finland and the USA.
